The lab was started in November of 2008 and has since seen an increased demand for its services. The lab is registered under the Kenya medical lab technicians and technologists board and has qualified personnel who ensure quality results of testing. Any test that cannot be done on site is referred to reference laboratories that maintain high quality standards.
