INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY: (ICT)

 As new technologies emerge, the ICT program continues to develop so that students are prepared to incorporate new technologies into their lives. With the use of the computer lab, students grow comfortable and confident in their technological abilities so that they can stay on top of the rapidly changing environment.

At VICODEC, ICT goals include:

  • Teaching students to responsibly and effectively use technological resources
  • Enhancing learning across the entire curriculum via incorporation of new technologies
  • Providing access to ICT resources including emerging technologies
  • Allowing students to connect with communities, both local and across the globe
  • Improving the ICT skills of staff members

Classrooms

We have spacious classrooms which are well equipped with modern learning aids.

 

 

Transport

VICODEC School offers Transport Facilities within the vicinity and outskirts of Rongai Town and Parts of Nairobi. We have a fleet of  Buses which are  fully licensed by Transport Licensing Board of  Kenya on fully compliance with the safety  of the children.  We don’t over speed. Every vehicle is assigned an assistant for helping the children in crossing and observing the road safety.

We keep the safety of the Children first thats why the vehicles are constantly serviced and  The Fleet Manager ensures  all vehicle are fueled in time and serviced weekly to  kept them in good condition. The drivers  are trained PSV-Licensed personnel with many years of experience and we ensure that they observes traffic rules and regulation as stipulated on Traffic Act of the Laws of Kenya.

Playground

Child Development Programmed requirements states that a child is entitled for 60 minute or more time, dedicated for play this fosters both physical and emotional growth. To achieve that, the school has ample playground and games facilities.

Multi-purpose hall

For our pupils modeling in all areas, co-curricular activities are essential. Dramas, debates and music rehearsals are conducted in our main hall that has a sitting capacity of 500.

School Garden

Our school garden has been instrumental in facilitating science lessons, CBC learning.
